Di Dougherty(née Stewart) is a television presenter and broadcaster primarily working across Sky Sports and NBC’s ‘The Golf Channel’ in America.

 

With a television career that has spanned almost two decades, Di began her broadcasting career back in 2005 on Sky Sports News. She quickly become a familiar and much-loved face on the channel, conducting live interviews across a variety of sports on a daily basis.

 

It wasn’t long before Di was given the opportunity to work on the sport she is most passionate about, covering top level Golf across the European Tour, PGA Tour and Major Championships, hosting and presenting live from all around the world.

 

It was her knowledge and hosting expertise that led to a career highlight in both 2010 at Celtic Manor, 2014 at Gleneagles, presenting the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the prestigious Ryder Cup in front of an audience in excess of 100 million people. She also performed the same duties at the 2019 Solheim Cup.

 

More recently, alongside her work across live Golf, Di has also become lead presenter for the Vitality Netball Superleague live on Sky Sports which will also include the Netball World Cup in 2019.

 

Alongside her TV commitments, Di is an accomplished and in demand corporate event host and conference MC, working with elite organisations including Boodles, Waitrose, M&C Saatchi, Valero, John Lewis and o2.

 

Di has a focused passion for highlighting the difference that sport can make to the next generation and also works as an ambassador for ‘On Course Foundation’ and ‘Hope and Homes for Children’ Charity.
