Scotland – Sport Parkinson’s Four Nations Golf 2021

I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2007, when I was 36.  If hearing I had Parkinson’s wasn’t bad enough, a few days later I was told that if I took regular exercise I would fare better than if I didn’t. This was a disaster.  Exercise and I were never friends. But exercise I did.

Running and long distance walking give me a sense of achievement, the inspiration to tackle Parkinson’s head on and the opportunity to meet amazing people and visit wonderful places.

Nineteen half marathons, eight full marathons, two tramps up the West Highland and a climb to the summit of Kilimanjaro later, I am delighted to be joining the Scotland team at the Sport Parkinson’s Four Nations Golf Event at the Belfry.

As for someone called Bryn Williams playing for Scotland…. that is a long story.
